The special thing about this event is that the theme was "mixed matched". Yeap, its a difficult theme to oblige. I showed up half an hours late that day and so the inspection for BBQ king and queen was over when I arrived, thank god for that(cause with what I'm wearing I may be dragged out).Just imagine...I wore a black dress and long earings matched with a big red Addidas sweat jacket and sports shoes with mix matched stockings. When I stepped in the college, there stood the registration counter and two people in charged were there. So cautious with what I was wearing and also due to the fact that those two looked quite surprised with my presence, I faked my confidence and approached the table. I expected them to tell me to register and stuff, but all I got was a moment of silence as they stared at me, probably dumbfounded by my outfit(lolz). Yea, so that was my awkward entrance for that event. (Fast forwarded) I reach the canteen with a pink glow stick in my hand. Many people had gathered at the basketball court. All eyes seem to focus on something but I couldn't tell at first because everyone was blocking. First thing I had to do was to find my classmates. It wasn't difficult to find them though, they were just stoning near the entrance of the basketball court. I surprised my friends with my "punctuality" and they start feeding me with nice comments, such a bunch of sweetpeas! I didn't look ludicrous after all! Phew... Apparently, everyone was looking at the MC-Brian Arron, who could make everyone laugh out loud. If there had been a Comedian King title, he would have walked away with it in style!
The performance went on and I shall not describe too much. There are two performances that left a stronger impression, one was Wing Yie's band named "Soul Jam" and the other was Deepaq's dance crew. Half way through the performances, everyone started to become restless. It seemed that every one's tummy rang at the same time. Since the food was self-serviced, the line was .....(haiz) no need for me to give further explanation ya. There were Malay kuihs, fries, nuggets, fried sausages and chicken wings that was the only thing that were barbecued -.- .
In the line, someone unexpected was lining up behind me. Guess who? Adrian from Wesley, went to US before graduating. See why it is unexpected? All the standing and waiting had started to take the toll of me, I was sweating like a pig. S.O.S ,my body needs ventilation! Very reluctant to take off the jacket, I started off by flapping the sides of my jacket. I'm gonna flyyy :D . However, I took it off in the end, couldnt stand it. After the meal, dancing time!
I went home at 11 something because my dad mistaken me on the phone that I asked to come fetch me at 11.30 instead of 10.30 night. Problem sloved when my kind cousin , Sarah Lee Ling Hui fetched me home instead.
I didnt bring a cemera, so I only have few pics of me on that day.
I look older! oh no! By the way, the hot gal beside me is Eli, "Alley" hehe..
